Deposition of engine stoppage foam residue upon an engine filter surface
This technology allows for the ability to remotely stop an automobile by non-lethal means using a protien-stabilized carbon dioxide foamdeployed in the path of an oncoming vehicle. The foam displaces oxygen and clogs filters in air induction systems, immediately stopping vehicle engines. Developing methods for remotely stopping a vehicle by non-lethal means provides an option for stopping an automobile or light truck while preventing the death of potentially innocent vehicle occupants.
